Wenn LEAP eines können, dann Räume in etwas verwandeln, das sich größer anfühlt als vier Wände und eine Bühne. Genau das passierte an diesem Dienstagabend (01. Dezember) vor 200 Zuschauern im ausverkauften Lux in Hannover.

Das Lux gehört zu einem der bodenständigsten Liveclubs in Hannover: klein, direkt und immer ein bisschen wärmer und lauter, als man erwartet. Das Setting aus dunklen, plakatierten Wänden, unzähligen Stickern, gedämpftem Licht und einer überraschend kräftigen Anlage bietet die perfekte Bühne für die britische Indierockband LEAP.

Das Konzert in Hannover war nicht nur der letzte Deutschland-Stopp der „Entropy Tour 2025“, sondern gehörte auch zu einer kleinen Reihe ausgewählter Shows, zu denen nur jene Fans Zutritt hatten, die sich die Deluxe-Box des im Herbst veröffentlichten Debütalbums „Entropy“ gekauft haben. Das Konzept, beim Kauf einer Deluxe-Box gleich ein exklusives VIP-Ticket zu erhalten, war auch für uns neu, aber ganz ehrlich: Wir feiern diese Idee ziemlich hart.

Bevor LEAP am Abend die Bühne im ausverkauften Lux mit ihrem gewohnten Indirock übernahmen, gab es für die Fans bereits ein ganz besonderes Highlight: Die Band präsentierte etwa eine halbe Stunde lang einige ihrer ältesten Songs in einer fast schon A-cappella-Version und nutzte die ruhigen Passagen, um zwischendurch Fanfragen direkt aus dem Publikum zu beantworten. Darunter auch Fragen wie: „In welchem Harry-Potter-Haus würdet ihr landen?“ oder „Wer sind eure musikalischen Vorbilder?“. Dabei nahm sich die Band Zeit, jede Antwort mit Humor und Persönlichkeit zu beantworten.

Nach einer kurzen Pause ging das Konzert dann in die zweite Runde und die hatte es wirklich in sich: LEAP betrat erneut die Bühne und brachte die Venue in aller Rockshow Manier zum Beben!

Die Band spielte das komplette Entropy-Album, und die Menge reagierte mit Moshpits ohne Ende. Es gab kaum Momente ohne Mitsingen, Mittanzen oder Jubeln. Das Lux verwandelte sich in kürzester Zeit in eine beinahe saunaartige Hitze und das gibt nur annähernd wieder, wie elektrisierend die Stimmung wirklich war.

Frontsänger Jack fand auch in den kurzen Pausen immer die richtigen Worte – sei es, um offen über seine bipolare Störung zu sprechen oder um jedem einzelnen Fan für die unglaubliche Unterstützung zu danken. Außerdem kündigte Jack an, dass die Entropy Tour noch lange nicht vorbei ist: Auch 2026 wird es Konzerte geben und die werden größer sein als je zuvor.

Nach der Show gab es noch ein Meet & Greet, bei dem sich die Band viel Zeit nahm, um Autogramme zu signieren und für Fotos zu posieren. Aber mal ehrlich: Das gesamte Konzert fühlte sich beinahe wie ein großes Meet & Greet an. LEAP schafft es mit ihrer persönlichen, direkten und unglaublich sympathischen Art, dass man sich sofort zugehörig fühlt – fast so, als wäre man selbst ein Teil der Band.

Wir sind gespannt, was LEAP in naher Zukunft noch zu bieten hat, wir sind uns sicher, dass es großartig wird!

If there’s one thing LEAP can do, it’s turning a room into something that feels bigger than four walls and a stage. And that’s exactly what happened on this Tuesday evening (December 1) in front of 200 spectators at the sold-out Lux in Hanover.

The Lux is one of the most down-to-earth live clubs in Hanover: small, straightforward, and always a bit warmer and louder than you expect. The setting of dark, poster-plastered walls, countless stickers, dimmed lights and a surprisingly powerful sound system provides the perfect stage for the British indie rock band LEAP.

The concert in Hanover wasn’t just the final Germany stop of the “Entropy Tour 2025,” but also part of a small series of exclusive shows open only to fans who purchased the deluxe box of the debut album „Entropy“, released in autumn. The concept of getting a VIP ticket along with a deluxe box was new to us too – but honestly, we absolutely love the idea.

Before LEAP took the stage that night with their usual indie rock sound, fans were already treated to something special: For about half an hour, the band performed some of their oldest songs in an almost a cappella style and used the quieter moments to answer questions directly from the audience. These included lighthearted questions like “Which Harry Potter house would you end up in?” or “Who are your musical influences?” The band took their time, answering each question with humor and personality.

After a short break, the concert moved into its second round and it really packed a punch: LEAP came back on stage and shook the venue to its core in full rock-show fashion!

The band played the entire Entropy album, and the crowd responded with endless mosh pits. There were hardly any moments without singing along, dancing or cheering. The Lux transformed into a near-sauna within minutes – which only hints at how electrifying the atmosphere actually was.

Frontman Jack always found the right words during the short breaks – whether he was speaking openly about his bipolar disorder or thanking every single fan for their incredible support. He also announced that the Entropy Tour is far from over: There will be shows in 2026 as well and they’ll be bigger than ever.

After the show, there was a meet & greet where the band took plenty of time to sign autographs and pose for photos. But honestly, the entire concert already felt like one big meet & greet. With their personal, direct, and incredibly charming energy, LEAP makes you feel instantly included – almost as if you’re part of the band yourself.
